Finance: Manage Cash Flow

October 8, 2008

Everyone is talking about cash flow these days. The question to ask yourself is are you proactively managing cash flow?

1. Do you already have a line of credit in place should you need it?

2. Are you collecting payments quickly to keep cash flowing through your business?

3. Are you pacing out expenses, so you don’t have a surge of expenses in a particular month?

You can answer these questions with the advice of a SCORE business counselor, who can help you analyze your cash flow and map out a plan. A plan to help you steady the cash flowing in and out of your business.
